The Elephant in the Room

At one point in my career, I carried a small stuffed elephant into meetings.
Why? Because everyone knew the tension was there, but no one wanted to say it. When the conversation got stuck, I’d place the elephant on the table and say: “Here it is. Let’s talk about it.”
It might sound odd, but naming the elephant changed everything.
Yes, conflict is uncomfortable. But once acknowledged, it became manageable. People exhaled. Real conversations began. Problems started to resolve.
At Ever Human Therapy, we believe most of our work as humans comes down to conflict:
The conflict within ourselves.
The conflict in our closest relationships.
The conflict in teams and workplaces.
And here’s the good news: conflict doesn’t have to be terrifying.
Avoiding it makes things heavier. Facing it—honestly and respectfully—opens the door to clarity, healing, and stronger connections.
How We Help
Therapy: for individuals, couples, and families navigating conflict at home or within.
Conflict Management Coaching: for leaders and professionals who need tools to approach difficult conversations with courage.
The elephant is always in the room. The question is: will you avoid it, or name it and move forward?
At Ever Human Therapy, we’re here to help you do the latter.
