Feelings In Need of Expression

Updated: Jul 23

Therapy: where “I’m fine” goes to die. 😅

Me before therapy: “I’m totally fine.”

Me in therapy, 2.5 seconds later:

“It all started in third grade…”

Feelings In Need of Expression

How many times a day do you say, “I’m fine”?

Meanwhile, inside… you’re raging, crying, celebrating, feeling proud, embarrassed, angry, or swimming in shame but somehow the only two words that come out are: “I’m fine.”

And maybe you are fine.

But what if there's something more than fine?

What if there’s space for all of it for you to feel safe enough to be honest, even when the truth is messy or joyful or hard to name?

Here at EHT we want to rage with you. Cry with you. We want to hear what you're proud of and actually celebrate it with you. We’ll sit with you in your shame and help you turn it into something powerful and human.

Yes, therapy can feel weird. Maybe even too good to be true.

Can someone really help you unpack everything hiding behind “I’m fine”?

Yes.

And we want to do that with you.

You don’t have to carry it alone.

And yes we absolutely want to hear that third-grade story!

What is your third grad story?
